Super Sunday on 25 October brings two more Carling Knockout last 16 ties at home and five Premier League games in England. The UK clocks went back overnight, so the gap to South Africa is now two hours. Here is what to watch today, with every kick-off in SAST.
Carling Knockout: Sunday fixtures (SAST)
- 15:00 Kruger United v AmaZulu, Mbombela Stadium
- 18:00 Sekhukhune United v Richards Bay, New Peter Mokaba Stadium
Two places in the quarter-finals are already gone. On Saturday Golden Arrows beat Chippa United 4-0 in their first match since Mandla Ncikazi’s return as coach was announced, with Junior Dion, Sabelo Sithole, Nhlanhla Zwane and Jerome Karelse on the scoresheet. Later, Siwelele and Polokwane City could not be split after 120 goalless minutes, and Siwelele went through 4-3 on penalties despite finishing with ten men.
Today, Kruger United are at home in Mbombela against AmaZulu, and as the home side they will want to make the most of a familiar pitch. In the evening Sekhukhune host Richards Bay in Polokwane. In a one-off cup tie there is no second leg to fix a slow start, which is why Saturday needed a shootout to settle things. Holders Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs all play on Tuesday at 19:00, before Durban City meet Stellenbosch on Wednesday.

Premier League: Sunday fixtures (SAST)
- 16:00 Crystal Palace v Newcastle United
- 16:00 Hull City v Brentford
- 16:00 Liverpool v Brighton & Hove Albion
- 16:00 Manchester United v Bournemouth
- 18:30 Sunderland v Leeds United
Four games kick off together at 16:00, so it is a good afternoon for flicking between screens. Liverpool against Brighton is the pick at Anfield. It was moved from Saturday because Brighton played in Europe on Thursday, and the same reason pushed Palace and Bournemouth to Sunday too, so watch how fresh their legs look in the second half. Manchester United host Bournemouth at Old Trafford, and Palace welcome Newcastle to Selhurst Park.
Hull, back in the top flight, take on Brentford at home, and the day closes at the Stadium of Light, where Sunderland and Leeds meet in a northern clash between two clubs that will both count this as a game they want to win.
